I live in the depths of the Gloucestershire countryside. My studio sits within my garden and I'm surrounded by nature. My environment constantly informs my work. The juxtaposition of fields in the landscape or the colours of the tree's, grasses, or sky and how nature has such a wonderful palette it is a constant inspiration. My Garden paintings reflect my passion for gardens and the fascination of all things that grow.
I was educated at the University of the West of England and gained a BA hons degree in illustration. Since my degree I have illustrated for the Natural Card company selling cards to The Eden Project and The Natural Trust. Illustrated for Mantra Lingua, as well as a book published on line with Utales. My work at the present is mainly landscapes which I now have a large portfolio of images of the Gloucestershire landscape.
I open up my studio twice a year. Once with the Severn art trail and again as a solo artist on the first weekend of December. I'm involved with an annual exhibtion in the Gloucestershire town of Tetbury and a biannual exhibiton at Westonbirt Aboretumn.
